Vacuum Barrier Corporation announces their new low-profile pneumatic dosing valve option available with the EasyDose G2 liquid nitrogen (LN2) dosing system.

“The low-profile dosing valve allows beverage companies, such as craft beer or coffee, to easily add LN2 dosing to their filling lines, even with compact fillers,” states Mike Johnson, Vice President of Sales, Vacuum Barrier Corporation.

The EasyDose G2 system, named for its simplicity of installation and operation provides discrete dosing up to 450 CPM, and continuous stream thereafter with software for both rotary and in-line fillers/cappers.

Vacuum Barrier’s complete line of liquid nitrogen injection equipment allows filling manufacturers to use less packaging materials by reducing package weight with one small dose of liquid nitrogen into the headspace. The pressurization of the package increases the strength and rigidity, eliminating paneling palletizing problems.

Filling manufacturers can also inert bottles and thin-wall cans in modified atmosphere applications to extend product shelf life, maintain product taste, color and freshness by reducing oxygen absorption. Because liquid nitrogen is inert there is no change to the product taste, which can be associated with chemical preservatives.

Vacuum Barrier’s liquid nitrogen dosing systems are designed to minimize how much liquid nitrogen is consumed with features such as; complete vacuum insulation, speed and dose compensation, continuously self-monitored for alarm conditions and no container no dose feature.

Optional features to the product line include Smartsync and 3-D technology (directional dose dispersion). Smartsync enables precise dose timing under all conditions by continuously monitoring the position and velocity of oncoming containers. 3-D Technology dosing blocks tailor the dose to the application to eliminate splash associated with shallow headspace in lightweight and hot fill beverages.

Vacuum Barrier Corporation’s liquid nitrogen dosing equipment allows OEM filler companies the ability to customize a complete customer based solution to their LN2 dosing needs.

Our complete line of Nitrodose and LN2 dosing equipment provides units that discrete dose from 200 to 2,000+ containers per minute with the greatest reliability, accuracy and consistency. Our streamlined design simplifies mounting the equipment within the filler and the hygienic design prevents product build-up or product contamination.

Other features include Smartsync Technology, 3-D Dosing Blocks and low profile dosing head. Smartsync Technology allows precise dosing synchronization under all conditions by continuously monitoring position and speed of incoming containers. 3-D (directional dose dispersion) heater blocks alter the speed and direction of the dose in order to eliminate splashing associated with reduced headspace in lightweight containers and hot-filled beverages and our Low Profile Dosing Head is perfect for fillers with tight spaces.
